The most amazing thing to me as I do know Barbara, is that she did all this while raising a family. She is married, raised children, worked as a teacher, and lectured to very large groups of people about the way she discovered to teach children. There’s just so many more experiences that I cannot wait to hear about! I ordered this book to replace the lost one I used 20 years ago to homeschool my dyslexic son. These strategies were essential for my son's learning to read and spell. The book is well written and useful as I help my grandsons with their homeschooling issues.

This excellent book changed my life. I was a musician who graduated high school with a 2.0 GPA. Totally right-brained. I came across this book when I was 30 and had recently understood I was right-brained, not stupid. It was an easy read and I followed the author's suggestion to "mind-map" as a learning method. My comprehension and retention of information soared. I returned to college where I was a National Dean's List scholar! My lowest grade was a B and that was because I missed a final and the professor averaged my grades, including a zero for the final! This book was for me the golden key to a world of knowledge I could never grasp before. I think you get the picture! Now, get the book!!!!
